We ordered two meals from Joe´s bar and were very disappointed. My jellof rice did not taste anything like a traditional jellof rice. It was more like a plate of rice cooked in tomato sauce and served with a side of boiled mixed veg!!!! As for the jerk chicken that accompanied my jellof rice, it did not have any flavour. It was blend and wasn´t even spicy to be honest. My partner ordered some pounded yam with an okra soup. Instead of the okra soup, he got a bowl of green water( more than disguting). The soup wasn´t sticky whatsoever!!!!! If I could have rated them a zero for their poor quality, I would have done as I don´t feel they deserved "1". My advice, do not order anything from them. If you expect good traditional food, you will be disappointed. I WOULDN´T RECOMMEND THEM!! NOT EVEN TO MY WORSE ENNEMY.

order was over an hour late and was only slightly warm. they also forgot a side order of chips and coleslaw that was supposed to come with my burger. and they also took the money for items they didnt have and because i paid on card i have to wait 3-5 days to be refunded! definitly wont be using this take away again!!!

The Delivery time was just absolute Nightmare, waiting more than an hour so 45 mins after said Delivery time by an advisor from Just Eat, when I asked if I could have an earlier time than indicated.

the food was ordered at ten to five by six thirty i texted and was told ten more mins by seven thirty i was really angry and called phone was not answered i texted but no reply by eight we were starving and went some where else the food never came and there was no answer to my calls i will never use them again

soo disappointed i dont know where to begin!! i ordered jerk chicken dinner, curry goat dinner and dumpling expected delivery time was a 10.30 so i waited and it got to 10.30pm but the food was still not here so i messaged them and asked them where it was and i got a message back saying ´on its way, it was delivered 30minutes before we was closing so bare with us´ when i read that message i thought how rude your running late an apology would have done and an estimated time for how much longer it would take!you shouldnt try put the blame on me and say because i ordered it half an hour before you closed it was my problem so anyway i left it the food arrived at 11pm a whole hour and a half after i placed the order. anyway i got both of my dinners but no dumplings which i paid for instead i got sum dry left over cake! then when i opened the dinners there was 5 small pieces of goat which was mainly fat and no taste to the food it was disgusting and the gravey/curry sauce was the same for both dishes too. the chicken was bland and more rice then there was of anything else!! i would of appreciated a phone call telling me they had no dumplings and been asked if i wanted to replace it and what with if not been refunded! stay well away i wont be ordering from here EVER again!!

Was disappointing - late, dumplings were burned, the curried meat was nice and rice and peas were nice but absolutely no juice/curry so really dry and the chicken wasn´t really cooked through properly. They apologised for being so late as they were so busy but I won´t be going back.

Very friendly and polite individual who delivered the food, and the food was absolutely amazing, best jerk chicken I have had in Manchester. I highly recommend this place, food arrived before stated deliver time too, great portions at great prices.
