Kamana Restaurant was established in 1993 and has been under new management since 2008. Kamana is based on baring Road in Grove Park, London. Kamana's award winning chef has over 25 years of experience. Our aim is to bring the best Nepalese and Indian cuisine using authentic methods with a modern twist. The name Kamana translates quite literally as sophisticated flavours and this is the ethos behind the innovative menu with an emphasis on refined yet creative Nepalese & Indian Cuisine, the menu incorporates both traditional classic favourites and original new dishes that apply eastern flavours with a western twist. Acclaimed favourites include Sarabi King Prawn, cooked with wine, garlic and served with medium sauce, Gulmeli Chicken cooked with aubergines and chef’s homemade spices, Gurkhali Mismas Karahi, king prawns, lamb tikka , chicken tikka and seek kebab cooked in a special sauce with wine. Kamana is open Monday to Thursday from 16:30 to 23:45 and Friday to Sunday 12:00 – 23:45. Delivery is FREE with a minimum order of £12.00, below delivery is not available

The food arrived a little later than the estimated time and the delivery person (a young girl) wasn´t particularly polite. The starters were all cold and the portion sizes are about 30% smaller than they were the last time we ordered from here. The main (a chicken bhuna) was delicious and hot however, as was the rice and breads we ordered. I´m just disappointed with the temperature and size of the starters really as the starters are my favourite bit.

We ordered TWICE this weekend! The taste is always very nice and the food is clean and correct. The first order on Friday seemed little in quantity (not much rice or chicken in both meals) although Sundays delivery was double the size! We really enjoy this food and hope Fridays delivery was a one off. The delivery guy is friendly and has been before the expected time.
