WE WAITED 2 HRS FOR DELIEVERY! bit upset after readung reviews mixed! we thought we see how it was and make a order! the food was lovely and such a let down those that took so long!!

We waited 50 mins before calling the restaurant and were promised the food was 2 - 3 mins away. After 25 mins of further waiting we called back only to be hung up on. Called back again and were told they would call the driver. Waited a further 10 mins, called again and got hung up on again. Finally called from a different phone to cancel the order and was told by the owner they were busy but he would bring the food in 10 mins time - which indicated it hadn´t even been cooked! Now we have spent a further 30 mins on a queue in just eat to get a refund, are starving and not having a good Friday night at all! We used this service because we are both down with the flu and wanted an easy option for dinner.

The food is usually very good but on this occasion it wasn´t. They forgot the poppadoms and the chicken was a little luke warm. They have offered x5 free popaddoms and x1 Khuri Chicken next time I order.

I had to start some "momo" nepalese dumplings (lamb) which came with what I thought was an interested take on chilli sauce, which was both tart and sweet with a curry sauce like texture which honestly complemented to soft and succulent steamed dumplings perfectly. The lamb was spicy but not hot and really well flavoured and the pastry, usually fried as a shortcut by some philistines, was steamed and soft. As a main, I had a thai green curry, which is infamous for being as different in one retaurant than in another as north and south. All the ight elements were there. Creamy cocout milk, soft bamboo, juicy red and green peppers that were on the melt-in-your-mouth side of cooked, tender chicken and in good quantity and copious sweet basil. The hotness was just right, I felt no desire to rise my mouth with milk and this allowed me to appreciate the flavours of the sauce so much more. I´d also love to point out that this dish is not as sweet as the thai greens I´m used to, I think it could have done with a bit more lemongrass as well, so have it with some jasmine coconut rice for perfect balance. And just because I felt sorry for him, I bought my partner a keema nan bread. His word on this is it´s the best one he´s had and he´s hard man to please. The delivery was on time and the driver, for once, didn´t get confused when I told him I´d already paid by card. Well done!

red tai curry and tai chicken crispy noddles good, prawn with baby corns was not so good corns were sweetcorn and peas. Prawn crackers were clearly not fresh very soft.

After having lived a few doors up the road from the very fine Khukuri restaurant for about five years and then moving out to Woodley, I was delighted to see that they would deliver to us out here. Khukuri is my absolute favourite curry from the town centre area of Reading, and I have had a few to compare ! . Every dish is very distinctive, rather than the bland and generic offerings available elsewhere in perhaps the more fashionable looking places. The quality of ingredients has always in my experience been of the highest. The meat is always of excellent quality. No gristle and minimum fat on the lamb which is cooked to perfection and melts in the mouth. Nice big pieces of chicken etc. Can’t recommend the place highly enough, either for a sit down, or a take out. They quoted about an hour and I think that was quite accurate, did not mind the wait at all knowing what was coming. Can’t wait for my next one.
