Mumbai 2 go

I have collected take-aways from Mumbai2Go many times since I stumbled upon the takeaway a few months ago, and always found the food delicious. The reason I prefer it to other Indian restaurants in the area is because the ingredients always taste fresh. Decided to order delivery one night as I couldn´t be bothered to go collect, despite previous reviews saying delivery takes too long. I was pleasantly surprised to find the food delivered within 45 minutes after ordering, all the dishes were hot when it arrived. I have lived in the UK for 9 years and always find it difficult to find authentic Indian/Bangladeshi food when I am homesick, but mumbai2go is the closest I have found to home cooked food - I ordered the bhindi, daal, lamb shank and chicken mangalore. The lamb shank and the chicken were amazing, and you could tell the bhindi was fresh. unlike most other restaurants in london, you can tell that the spices used are fresh and not powdered spices from the supermarkets!

Delivery and collection was fine but when we recieved our food, the rice and saag gosht seemed to have been in microwavable boxes and tasted exactly like it. The rice was not fresh and the dishes were very small for what we paid. Will not be ordering again.
