Saiphin & Alex Moore set up and own Rosa’s. Although Saiphin is originally from Thailand and Alex from England the couple first met in Hong Kong in 2001 and ended up setting up a Thai restaurant there together. It was a humble little place but became popular quickly. In 2006 the couple decided to sell up, shake up their lives again & relocate to the UK. Once they arrived in London they spotted a sign on the door of a former English cafe named Rosa’s in the East End. The place had been gutted but they smelled an opportunity and gave the landlords a ring. In 2008 they set to work on building a Thai restaurant there. The idea behind Rosa’s was to mix a taste of modern Thailand with a serving of local London charm. Although things started slowly business soon picked up. Customers were leaving happy & the word soon spread. As space was very limited the only way to grow further was to open up a new location. The couple found a space in the West End & Rosa’s Soho was born in March 2010. They started delivering food to their customers’ houses & offices from there in the spring of 2011

Delivery took its time (about 1hr 15mins) and subsequently the food wasn´t piping hot. It was however delicious although they did give us the wrong sauce with our starter. That said the mains were superb with good flavours and big portions. If it wasn´t for the relatively high price I´d have no reservations in using them again.
