The meal took an hour to arrive, however, the man who delivered this meal was very polite, friendly and professional. The ´40 minute´ estimate was perhaps a little bit optimistic, though. The sauce was nice, but not the best curry I´ve ever had and the rice was a little dry. However, the free Bombay potatoes were very much appreciated. Overall, this meal hit the spot and my girlfriend and I enjoyed it. We would probably order from them again.

Food arrived on time and was very hot. Driver was polite and friendly. Our special requests were met perfectly. Would have given a perfect score for Quality but the chips were slightly undercooked. Anyway, Shalimar´s is recommended!

I have been ordering Shalimar Express for a long time now and have also tried most of the other take outs on here. There service has always been exceptional. The quality of food is always top notch. I definitely recommend this place as the best take out in Southampton.

Wrong flavour of icecream delivered, would´ve been nice just to have received a call informing me of the change in case I didn´t want the alternative. Having said that though, the food was great. Would get again.

Took far to long to arrive. Asked for sauce and salad on the side and it wasnt so the chicken kebab was cold soggy and not nice!!

Watch out after 45 mins of waiting they called to say they are too busy to let us have the food, never had this in a takeaway before so they have lost our business!!
