Shish Mahal Indian Restaurant

I had never tried this particular establishment before last week when it popped up on the available local options on this site. Order delivery was as advertised and although the driver had minor problems locating the address he phoned my number in plenty of time to allow for timely arrival .. a lot of drivers seem to drive around in circles until it finally dawns on them to phone, this bloke was on the ball. Honest too, I had forgotten I had paid by card and offered him the cost of the meal at my door in cash .. an offer which was promptly refused. The meal itself was first class with a mixed pakora serving being perfectly spiced and seasoned and cooked to perfection. Chicken curry sauce is a dish that you would think couldn´t go wrong but often the sauce is less than perfect, being bland and runny but Not so the case with shish mahal .. sauce was excellent, just the right amount of piquancy and bite and a consistency.. very nice indeed. My partner had a Tandoori Mix Grill which, once again, was cooked to absolute perfection with all of the meat portions and types being done just so. Naan was excellent with the dough cooked properly right through and not a hint of sogginess. Just the right amount of well done, crispy patches from the tandoori oven too .. superb. All in all an extremely enjoyable meal from an establishment which, although new to me, will ABSOLUTELY be getting further custom from this household. Top Class Wife is fussy but she had her thumbs up on this place

I would definately recommend the restaurant to anyone. Food arrived piping hot, absolutely delicious and my poppadoms were not broken :D :D delivery time was as stated. Highly recommended A regular :)
