Takari~

First order from Takari I wasn´t disappointed at all in fact it was a very good experience. Credit to the chef for his tasty cooking will be ordering again very soon.

Delivery took almost 2 hours from when first ordered, food arrived only warm and needed re-heating. Food, was good however, but wouldn´t wait that long again.

The dhal, bhindi and aubergine were A+. The lamb was too tough to be edible and the mint in the curry did not work well for me. The mushroom did not complement the chicken in the dish I ordered. I would however order from this restaurant again because they are good at vegetarian dishes and the service is good. They brought me a complementary bottle of wine.

I´ve never felt the need to leave a review of a restaurant before but I think Takari deserve a mention for their spectacular level of rudeness. When I called to query the order after it was half an hour late I was told that all their orders had been already been delivered so my order couldn´t have come through. Took some persuasion for them to actually check and without apology I was told that they had received it but hadn´t given it to the chef. When I expressed surprise at the way I was spoken to I was told that was my problem and that they had ´thousands of other customers´. Probably not for much longer if that´s their attitude. I have had food from there once before, passable after a long day at work. Never again.
