As one of only a few delivery soul food places The Spot is a unique slice of america experience.The glazed chicken is delicious and sweet, the bbq is also delicious. the spicy ribs are SPICEY! the cornbread is nice if very sweet, the candied yams are hard and very nutmeggy sweet. all the food seems heavy on the nutmeg. the mash is actually Smash... the macballs are deepfried maccaroni cheese in breadcrumb. i have tried the sweet potatoe pie - it was burnt... the crumble was ok - nutmeg again. the Shakes are the best bit next to the chicken. go for large as they dont have american portions sadly. All in all a 7/10 for uniqueness, taste and overall exp. well worth a go but watch what you order.

The food was nowhere near the quality it should have been especially for the price the mac and cheese in particular was horrendous completely dry and did not taste good they are definately not worth the price they have set the portions were microscopic compared to many takeout places we have had!
