Just Eat for Alexa

Welcome to the Future

With support for the new Echo Show, Just Eat gives you the best of both worlds: ease of voice ordering, with the control to quickly check your basket and add items by tapping on a touchscreen. Lush.

Re-order your favourites

Re-order your favourite recent meals from all your favourite cuisines. Choose between collection and delivery, cash or card. All with your voice

Where’s my food?

Ask Alexa at any time, and we’ll keep you updated. On Echo Show, see where your driver is on the map. Great news if your neighbours are becoming concerned at your curtain-twitching.

Review your meal

Use nothing but your voice to tell the world about your meal. Play your part in the world’s greatest food community and tell the world what you thought.

Learn how it works

Ask Alexa to show you the ropes and it will walk you through a handy practice order. Alexa covers how easy it is to make an order. You’ll be (voice) ordering like a pro in no time.

FAQs

In the Amazon Alexa app, find the ‘skills’ section and look for the Just Eat skill. Enable the skill, link it to your Just Eat account and you’re good to get your grub on.

Why can’t I see all my previous orders?
Alexa will use the saved address at the top of your address book on the Just Eat website to look for restaurants that are open. Have more than one saved address in your Just Eat account? Log into your account at just-eat.co.uk and have a look.

Why can’t I see all my previous orders?
Alexa will use the saved address at the top of your address book on the Just Eat website (sometimes called ‘standard’) to look for restaurants that are open. Make sure this is the address you want food delivered to. She’ll go back through your last three months’ of orders.

How does Alexa know my Just Eat order history?
You’ll need to link Alexa to your Just Eat account using the Alexa Companion app. Your Just Eat account details or saved cards are not shared with Amazon.

Why can’t I order something different?
Just Eat on Alexa is all about ordering food quickly. We let you start with a previous order, then tweak it until it’s just right.

I’m being told I don’t have any previous meals to re-order. What gives?
Maybe the restaurant you ordered from before is closed, or its menu has changed. You can still order from the Just Eat app.

My order didn’t go through. Why?
Have a chat to one of the wonderful people in the Just Eat customer care team at https://www.just-eat.co.uk/help/.

Alexa keeps trying to send my order to the wrong address. What’s up with that?
Have more than one saved address in your Just Eat account? Log into your account at Log in to your account and have a look.

What can I say to Alexa?
Ask it to reorder your last meal from your favourite cuisine by saying ‘Alexa, ask Just Eat to re-order’, or check where your meal is by saying ‘Alexa, ask Just Eat where is my food?”. If you know what you want, you can ask for it directly by saying ‘Alexa, ask Just Eat to re-order Sushi’.

What if I have a food allergy?
If you have an allergy that could harm your health, we strongly advise that you contact the restaurant directly before you place the order. Look in the Alexa companion app for the restaurant's details, or use the Just Eat app for more information. Alexa will ask you to confirm when you’re reordering.
