Treatmas - Terms and Conditions

These terms & conditions are applicable to the Treatmas Campaign (“Campaign”), organised by Takeaway.com Central Core B.V., with registered office at Piet Heinkade 61, 1019 GM Amsterdam, The Netherlands (“Just Eat Takeaway.com” or “JET”).

General

By participating in the Campaign each participant “Participant”, shall agree with these terms and conditions.
The Campaign will start on December 1 at 00.01 hrs and ends on 31 December 2023 at 23:59 hrs (the “Campaign Period”)
Participants that act in violation of these terms & conditions will be excluded from participation in the Campaign.

The Campaign

The Campaign, which consists of a prize campaign, is enrolled on JET Platform (“Platform”).

To take part in the Campaign, the Participant has to:
1. Place a successful and completed order via the Platform with a minimum order value of £5 during the Campaign Period; make sure you are subscribed to our marketing communications to receive discounts, loyalty offers and other updates on the check-out page of your order;
2. On the order confirmation page, the customer will find a banner that highlights that the game invitations will be sent via email, after enjoying a dish. The customer receives an email with the invitation link (link is valid for 72 hours) and a reminder by an email after 48 hours; be aware that the confirmation email with the voucher might end up in the spam folder.
3. By clicking on the treat on the game page, the Participant will see which prize he received.
4. After 2 hours the Participant receives an email with a code (voucher code of Just Eat or discount code of third party) to redeem the prize on the applicable platform. If restaurants or the customer has canceled the order, the final code will not be sent.
All the Participants who have fulfilled all conditions specified in Clause 2 can receive one of the prizes below.
Participants are able to participate in the Campaign at most three times during the Campaign Period.
No communication costs are charged by JET for participating in the Campaign.
JET reserves the right to suspend, revoke the Campaign at any time in compliance to the law applicable in the Territorial Area. Any changes to the competition will be made pursuant to such law.

Participants

In order to participate, it is necessary to be a resident in the Territorial Area.
A minimum age of 18 years is required for participation in the Campaign.
JET retains the right to block issuance of the vouchers in case of fraud or misuse.

Deadline for Delivery of Prizes

After two (2) hours from placing the order, the Participants receives an email with a code to redeem the prize.

2. Just Eat vouchers:
  1. Vouchers are limited to one per participant, not refundable, exchangeable, replaceable, redeemable, or transferable for cash under any circumstances.
  2. Valid on Just-eat.co.uk or in the mobile app for a single use. The remaining amount must be paid with one of the available online payment methods. Minimum order amount is £8. Vouchers may not be sold or reproduced. Just Eat UK retains the right to cancel any usage of the voucher in case of fraud or misuse. Valid through 15-01-2024. Vouchers exclude grocery orders.
  3. Just Eat vouchers cannot be returned or exchanged for other vouchers and cannot be combined with other vouchers of any kind. When redeeming the voucher, the terms and conditions on the voucher and JET’s general terms and conditions apply.
  4. If a participant of the Campaign uses a voucher on the website(s) of third parties, the participant enters into an agreement with the relevant third party. The terms and conditions of the latter may apply to such agreement. JET is not liable for any non-compliance by the relevant third party with such agreement.
  5. JET reserves the right to replace the prize indicated with another of similar value or equal characteristics in case of exhaustion or inability to find the same on the market
3. Up to 10% discount on Booking.com
  1. A valid Booking.com account is required to receive your reward. The email on the account must be the same as the one used for your booking.
  2. Up to 10% discount offer is valid from booking period 1-12-2023 to 31-01-2024 on eligible accommodations.
  3. The reward can be used once.
  4. Only properties with an estimated reward amount are eligible.
  5. Your price summary will show you how much you’ll get off your booking.
  6. The amount may exclude some taxes/fees and is subject to currency conversion rates.
  7. This offer cannot be used on bookings made directly on Booking.com

Privacy

JET’s privacy notice and the General Data Protection Regulation apply to the personal information shared by Participants in connection to this Campaign.
The personal information made available by the Participant to JET in connection to the Campaign is used to inform the Participant about the Campaign and to inform the Participant if he/she has won a prize. For these purposes, the personal data that may be shared with the external provider playable (host of landing page) will be encrypted. This data will be deleted at the end of the Campaign Period.

Liability

The participation in the Campaign is at Participant’s own risk.
JET accepts no responsibility for any damage, loss, liabilities, injury or disappointment incurred or suffered by a Participant as a result of participating in the Campaign or in relation to any Prize.
JET takes great care in organising the Campaign, but the possibility that information presented regarding the Campaign is incomplete or incorrect cannot be entirely ruled out. Inaccuracies, spelling mistakes or comparable mistakes on the Campaign’s website or other Campaign materials published by JET of whatever nature, cannot be held against JET or cause any obligation for JET.
Neither JET nor any of its subsidiary or affiliated companies are responsible for any condition, circumstances, losses, failures or delays caused by events beyond its or their control where this campaign is concerned. Nothing in these Campaign Terms and Conditions shall exclude the liability of JET for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, willful misconduct or gross negligence.
JET and third parties engaged by JET, are not liable for failures in network, hardware or software by social media channels that cause data to be delayed or lost.

Fraud

JET retains the right to investigate the participation in the Campaign for any fraudulent activities and take any measures to end them. These measures may comprise that JET at its own discretion cancels an eligible order. Campaign entries earned through fraudulent activities or activities in violation of these terms and conditions will be null and void.

Others

The law of the territory where the Campaign is run applies to these terms and conditions.
Any gambling taxes due in respect of this Campaign and/or any withholding tax that must be withheld from a prize are for the account of JET.
Any taxes (other than gambling taxes) due in respect of this Campaign is for the account of the participant.
Participants should consult their own (tax) advisors regarding the local tax and legal consequences of winning a prize as won prizes may need to be declared to the local (tax) authorities.
