Really disappointing. The steak was medium well/well done instead of medium. Received two orders of chips which was nice until I opened one bag that was clearly old chips reheated/refried. The broccoli was half stems, half including florets. The calamari breading was soggy. The profiteroles were sad looking and included green sprouts as decoration. The meal felt like it was forced to be made when everything had run out which is really unfair for someone that paid nearly £60 for their order. Such a shame for a NYE dinner, too.

Brilliant. Good quality food. I love that the kids menu is available. Perfect size portions for them with a good ratio of veggies. They love it! Well done browns!

All great. Just a shame about the mashed potato. The kids hated it, I tried it and it tastes like it’s made with oil instead of butter and/or cream. Artificial taste. Very odd. The rest of the order was great though.

A little bit about us

Since opening the first Browns in 1973, it's been providing delicious food and drink in beautiful surroundings with superb service. Many are in unique landmark buildings, so classic seasonal food and signature cocktails can be enjoyed in everything from a stunning Mayfair ex-gentlemen's club to Bristol's beautiful old city museum. We are not able to provide delivery and self-collection meals for guests with food allergies or intolerances at this time. However, we can cater for specific dietary requirements at our restaurant so please visit and eat in with us instead. Our kitchens use ingredients containing the following allergens: Celery, Cereals containing Gluten, Crustaceans, Egg, Fish, Lupin, Milk, Molluscs, Mustard, Nuts (e.g. almonds, hazelnuts, walnuts, cashews, pecan nuts, Brazil nuts, pistachio nuts, macadamia nuts), Peanuts, Sesame, Soya and Sulphites (over 10ppm) and there is a risk of cross contamination from these allergens.
