Friday 12 July 2024Ordered as a birthday treat as the food has always been perfect.
However this time was a horror show. Firstly instead of Chicken tempura I received what I assume was Ebi Prawn tempura which I can't eat. I gave that to the dogs... they weren't keen either.
On to the beef danburi and this was basically a few scraps of shoe leather, tough, dry and seemed to be recooked. I know its mid week but I didn't pay for recooked beef, the accompanying rice was soggy too.... the egg was ok at least.
Finally the Nikko spiced chips, after some digging around I found approx. 5 specks of seasoning in the bottom of the container, not even enough to cover a tiny chip, this is basic stuff...
I genuinely hate to leave a bad review given previous high quality but you need to do a lot better this was genuinely tragic especially given the price.
