Food is cold

Gordon Chippy replied Following your in person complaint about the food being cold, we replaced your entire order without question on the understanding you were happy with this outcome. Unfortunately on this occasion it was due to the third party driver driver not delivering your order immediately after pick up from us as we discussed when we replaced your order. We were surprised and disappointed to read this review as we endeavour to rectify any complaints we receive and leave our customers happy. Hopefully you will give us another try.

Lovely fish and chips. My only criticism is that it wasn’t very hot but it was still lovely. Would still order from you again.

Very disappointed with the food quality tonight.the fish was so greasy I had to take the batter off and the chips wasn’t much better.the grease had soaked through the paper and covered the box.it’s now in the bin.shame as previous orders I’ve had have been great,I won’t chance it again.

What a joke!! Order a large chips and got ebiugh chips to fit in a saucer. Smaller then a kids size chips. I will not again!

no where near as nice as normal. chips undercooked and pie had just been microwaved and was soggy

Chips were burnt. Totally burnt. When I called and mentioned it I was told they were using a new kind of potato. Wasn’t convinced as chips tasted burnt as well.

Gordon Chippy replied As explained that batch of potatoes had higher content of sugar. Wasn’t burned and just looked darker. Very sorry you weren’t happy and would happy to replace either in person or quote the above order ref numbers on your next order. Love you to let us serve you again. Fish was inedible was so watery and batter was undercooked

Ordered a large cod, received an extremely small cod for the price of £8, it was also served soggy. Ordered small chips, received about 4 chips. When you can count the chips, it’s not really chips. As a first time customer very disappointment. The only ‘trendy’ thing, was the bag it was served in, I do feel ripped off and will not be ordering again here.
