Food was late and cold and when it arrived the delivery driver wanted an extra £2 delivery. I refused to pay it!
Palki replied We are sorry for delay your delivery...because we was really busy night..only 10_15 minutes late from your delivery time. Can't be getting cold food... because of late delivery that why you did not pay delivery charge.. and of the day it was driver money .. driver lost £2. .

Received this text after ordering. From Palki: hi there this is palki Indian takeaway, we just wanted to let you know there is a £2 extra delivery charge on the door due to justeat not updating our delivery charges which are on the back on the menu :) if there's any problems with this please let us know ASAP. Many thanks Seems strange.
Palki replied Hi Jonathan thanks for your comments... but Welbourn delivery charge is £4 But you just paid.£1 in just eat.. problems is just eat update delivery charge with post code... like LN5 LN6 LN4... we tell just eat something time..but they didn't update at all... they update with post code... you should know Waddington to Welbourn how far is it...is common things... how come you can pay only £1. That's why we informed who ever new our customer is...so they can have money ready when driver arrives. Thanks for your comments

Driver was apparently new, we got a notification that the food was dispatched but after more than a hour still no food. Phoned the restaurant who said they had been ongoing problems with the driver all night. The manager then cooked new food and delivered it himself, but it was 10pm when it arrived, which by this time it was too late for us to eat a full meal. I had half of mine but my partner didn’t eat her meal at all.

Yum! I thought all hope was lost for liking Indian food but I finally found a dish I like and can enjoy. Rosson Chicken Tikka was delicious. My partner found the King Prawn Passanda to be too sweet but she liked the Rosson. Chicken Chat starter was good, partner found it spicy but I enjoyed it. Naan bread and pappadoms soo yummy. The raita and mango chutney, delish! I would definitely recommend!

Food is great, delivery issue so I called restaurant and they blamed just eat and were unhelpful offering no refund or help.
Palki replied Thanks for your comments sam..but since the petrol prices have gone up we do struggle at times to get a driver at this time, so we try our best with what we've got to get your meal to you as soon as we can. Sorry for late.. palki team
