Sunday 03 September 2023The breakfast wasn’t very nice, I’m sure it will have been nice eating in but it just didn’t travel well at all, everything was just slopped to one side in a plastic container and because there was beetroot hummous it was just all over the bread and so messy, it didnt look appetising at all the bread was soggy and bacon was floppy and not cooked enough for my liking, the egg was hard and cold, not sure I’ll be ordering this again

Sunday 05 February 2023We ordered breakfast (at breakfast time - approx 9.30am). The initial time for delivery was 10 - 10.20. This then changed to 10.40 - 11 and the status was that a driver was assigned. Despite this still being a long time we though we would wait as we could see it was in process. It got to about 11.20am and still no sign of the food. I phoned the Red Kite and was told well we’ve done everything our end the food has been ready since you ordered (an hour and a half earlier). I explained how the time had changed 3 times and how it said a driver had been assigned. The person on the phone was unhelpful claiming the driver was nothing to do with then. Well if you’re offering a delivery service, whatever method of delivery you choose to use is still your responsibility as a restaurant. I said I was put off by the food being ready for an hour and a half and I didn’t want cold food. I was told it was kept under hot lamps! I don’t see how the food could be in a good condition after an hour and a half under a hot lamp. I explained my concern and was told there was nothing that could be done as the driver was now 3 minutes away. Our food arrived 2 hours after we ordered, close to lunch time by now, it was barely warm and rubbery from being under the lights for such a long time. It was really disappointing both the quality and the customer service!

We are not able to provide delivery and self-collection meals for guests with food allergies or intolerances at this time. However, we can cater for specific dietary requirements at our restaurant so please visit and eat in with us instead.
