Who stands a pizza box upright in a bag? This may be the fault of the driver , but unless he knew what was in there I can understand why he might of stood it upright en route due to the shape of the bag and labelling. Needless to say, the pizza was just a big blob of topping in the corner of the box , but at least the base was in tack. Thanks Red Lion/Just East , I would rather have just given you the £20 than deal with that mess. Shame I can’t upload the photo.

Beef was cooked Beautifully. Roast parsnips Beautiful. The potatoes were hard, had trouble cutting them. Gravy was so tasty, the little I had due to spilling in the bag. Was cold when it arrived.

My Sunday trio roast was an absolute disappointment I hadn’t realised you had to pay extra to have a Yorkshire pudding as none of the dinner had any, it arrived hot the way I would expect but the meat was terribly cooked and not worth £18.50 Lesson learnt don’t have the Sunday dinner to take away

Disgraceful portions for price. Kids meal at £7.50 had one small piece of beef. Pork belly meal at nearly £17 was more crackling than pork

If you want to enjoy traditional food with an imaginative twist, in a charming traditional country pub, then look no further than Vintage Inns. Cosy and relaxed but with a contemporary flavour, these rural inns are the perfect place to enjoy a lazy afternoon or linger over Sunday lunch.
We are not able to provide delivery and self-collection meals for guests with food allergies or intolerances at this time.
