Genuine review: The order was actually late by 50 mins but there is no option for 50 mins on here hence I put 45 mins. I rang the restaurant twice (every 20 mins) to try & find out where the order was. I was told it was because the new delivery driver couldn't find our house (we are easy to find). The person who answered the phone was very apologetic both times. As way of apology they sent a free bottle of coke (which unfortunately we don't drink- they weren't to know) & 2 free poppadoms (that's for 3 meals) which we left because they tasted OLD (leaving poppadoms is a first for me because I usually love them) The food was mediocre. Good sized portions but lacking in flavour. I was told by my parents that the 'curry' didn't have a curry flavour. More worryingly, they each had strange rubbery material in their currys - what the heck was it? (which we have kept & will pass on to Saffron for them to look into) I'm just pleased my parents didn't accidently eat the pieces. I'm so disappointed because I used a voucher (that I was awarded with at work, for all my hard work) to buy this meal as a treat for us all & it was not a good decision. Really disappointed.

Saffron Indian Restaurant replied Hi , The driver was on time at the reception but unfortunately the number you have provided through Just eat it was wrong number and the driver could not reach you . You should have updated your number. We don’t deliver to the caravan. So the driver need your correct mobile number to meet you at the reception. So if it’s bit late but actually it was not our Fault!! And we delivered good quality food .

The food tasted a bit off as it hadn’t tasted like previous times and the portions were small compared to the price paid

Saffron was recommended and it hasn't disappointed...second time we have got take away and it was absolutely fantastic...we live 8 miles away but are more than happy to travel to get extremely good meals from Saffron...the staff are very friendly and helpful...we will be back

Watery, tasteless, poor portion size, I’ve eaten my fair share of curries from all over the place and this was disappointing considering the price too. I’m afraid I won’t be ordering again that’s for sure.

Don’t usually order from restaurants I’ve not used before as it usually end in disappointment and disgusting food!!! But this place was yummy and I’d definitely order again. I had the chicken tikka masala, pilau rice, poppadoms. Chicken was cooked food was hot and tasted delicious. Thank you😊

Food delivered 45 min before app said it was out for delivery. Food portion sizes were unacceptably small. 4 pieces of chicken in the chicken sizzler and the lamb sizzler was basically 1 full onion cut up along with 2 full tomatoes. The onion bhaji came in a white bag freezing cold and overcooked so very crunchy. Not what we expected when the food cost us £36.00. Inedible to say the least.

Was told delivery would be between 1850 and 1910 and it arrived at 1950.

Came 20 mins early yet was still stone cold. Will stick to Goa cuisine.

Firstly. the food was tasty BUT it arrived 40 mins late and 45 mins after status changed to "on it's way". we were obviously 1 of lots of orders the delivery guy had, It was lukewarm at best and need warming in microwave. The portions are tiny too for a premium price. I have bought bigger naan at budget supermarkets (ask GOA where they get them from as they are 4 times the size). I love the 1000 piece puzzle you call poppadums though. Sorry, there are far superior Indian style takeaways in town for 75% the cost and twice the food. we will NOT return.
