I was disappointed with this delivery... the food arrive was not hot .... semi warm to say the least. Not sure what the delivery driver did but there was quite a bit of "spillage" in the bag. I ordered the sauces and I felt that they were too thin / watery I think they would be much better if they were thicker. The papadom's were nice but I was disappointed with the rest.... There must be better India restaurants in Northampton .. shame as I am new to Northampton and will keep looking for better Indian restaurants.

Really nice food, but… you really can’t trust that you will get all the food on the order. This is the 4th time ordering from Safron and the food is pretty nice and flavoursome but each time something is always missing. Last night they forgot to put my rice in the bag, 5 items ordered 4 items delivered. Come on guys get it right. I’m gonna give em one more shot next time I need curry but that’s it, get it wrong and I will never be coming back. Tried to put an order complaint through Just eat but more difficult than ever these days.

We have had many Indian takeaways and this is by far the worsts. For one far too salty , it was like eating a fish straight out the sea. Secondly the tikka masala was not good, it wasn’t creamy , it had the consistency of tomato purée and again was super salty and just not very nice. We ordered a cheese and garlic naan , well it didn’t have proper cheese in it , it was like Parmesan and garlic instead which wasn’t nice. It was small , overcooked and crispy instead of being lovely and fresh and doughy . The only thing that was nice was the popadoms but I’m sorry for 45.00 for two people I would expect excellence, I have had better from spice cube for half the price. On top of all of this it was early by 20 minutes , what’s the point in selecting a time or you can’t deliver for it. The answer from the restaurant was order for a later time so we get to you. What a joke

Quality was below an average Indian take away and did not reflect on the price tag. Definitely overpriced
