Dear MS, Thank you for taking the time to leave a 1star review. We at Spice Box, are very passionate about the quality of food we cater to our customers, all our meals are prepared with the freshest highest quality ingredients in our open kitchen where customers can watch their meals being prepared a mere 1 foot away! Your review is grossly lame and unfair as it does not explain such a low rating at all. It is our policy to always reach out to customers who may have received a very rare meal that is below our consistent perfection. We especially take great care in contacting our South East Asian customers Before their meals are prepared as many seem to be under the misapprehension that as an example, a “Chicken Tikka Masala” is loaded with spices and fresh ginger and garnished with grilled tomatoes and Freshly chopped coriander, as is the case in niche localities where there is a predominantly Asian population that cater for such palates with a similar dish name. The Chicken Tikka Masala we serve is NOT that one at all, it is the one served up and down the country in hundreds of Indian Restaurants and Takeaways which is sweet and creamy to taste. It is prepared objectively to maintain expectation of the vast majority of diners who know what it is, indeed at some point it was voted the nations favourite dish! It is not our responsibility to phone up each and every customer and explain the above mentioned, but we do so nevertheless as we understand and appreciate that hard earned, good money is being spent on exceptional cuisine and we want ALL our customers to be satisfied and content with the meals they are delivered. All dishes have a description attached to them and it never ceases to perplex us that even then there are a very small number of customers who fail to read this and then complain they were served something other than which they ordered. Again, we reiterate for those few, that if customers are unsure they are more than welcome to phone in and enquire and indeed many do, more often than not we recommend dishes we feel would suit their taste buds and many of our customers are grateful for this. We are therefore completely in the dark on why you would rate us so low and take such vindictive scathing reviews very seriously especially with all the hard work we put into preparing each and every dish. We kindly request you either get in contact with us so we can better understand your 1star rating or refrain from ordering from us again as we are well within our rights to refuse custom without disclosing reason
