Chips not crisp. Steak overcooked. Tepid. Mushrooms, small portion. Tempura prawns very good.

This was the first time I ordered food from this French restaurant, and what a splendid surprise it was! My son (a well-travelled foodie) said the Cassoulet was one of the best he had ever had. And I had a delicious vegan dish, Peas & Shallot Tortelloni. We also splurged on some additional sides, and everything was beautifully seasoned and cooked to perfection. I would also just mention that I placed my order at 2.15pm which must be an awkward time by any establishment's standards, but the food arrived promptly with everything freshly cooked and hot. We were most impressed by the whole service. It was a bit more expensive than average, but definitely worth it!
