We want to be able to provide the best service and food when we can, and if we feel that it’s not possible, say it be lack of delivery drivers, we don’t want to disappoint customers especially when they’ve paid for add-ons such as delivery and service charge. Thank you, Stephen, for your feedback. You state that you thought you’d try and support one of the local chippies but you seem to do the opposite with your review. We understand that everyone is entitled to their opinion but please don’t suggest you want to support a local business when your words d seem to deter others. In regards to price, a vast majority of our customers believe the price is reasonable, considering the quantity and quality of the food served. We’ve set our prices according to the quality of ingredients and fresh local fish we serve so that it is both fair to our customers and viable for our business. When compared to local business alike, this seems to be the average and one can’t expect any cheaper unless quality is compromised of course. The fish is prepared and cooked upon order so it is quite hard for us to fathom how the fish could have been so battered. The fish along with the chips are double-wrapped in white newspaper so that they are delivered fresh and in one piece. The chips, as you as state, were large in size so it is inevitable that not all of them would have fit in the box provided, especially due to our large portion sizes.
