Reflecting the vast diversity of its environment, history & neighbouring cultures, Nepalese cuisine takes the best of high altitude cooking from its Tibetan border, with the lush sub-tropical cuisine of India. The result is an exciting range of flavours highlighted by the Yak and Yeti's very own Nepalese chef. Yaks, large Himalayan-dwelling animals closely related to cattle or bison, are known for their strength & endurance as they endure freezing temperatures & high altitudes. The Yeti, or Abominable Snowman, a myth to many, is a reality to a few explorers & hardy Sherpa’s. And so it is these qualities that reflect themselves in the cuisine of Yak and Yeti - a powerful, enduring, unforgettable taste that has to be 'tasted' to be believed!
