Real Ukrainian food

Chicken Kiev, Borshch, Vareniki, Deruny – Ukrainian food offers some of the tastiest comfort food in Eastern Europe. It’s a magical mix of traditional Ukrainian countryside recipes and Russian, Polish, German and Turkish influences.

Probably the first dish that most people think of is Chicken Kiev, that succulent chicken fillet stuffed with dairy butter and herbs. It’s one of the world’s favourite chicken dishes for good reason. Vareniki is special, too. Vareniki is a delicious doughy dumpling filled with meat, mushrooms, cabbage, cheese, potatoes or whatever the kitchen dreams up. They’re also available with sweet fillings, too. Another famous dish is Borsch, a beautiful soup of beetroot with tomato, onions, carrots, cabbage, peppers and pretty much every veggie in the garden. If you’re lucky, you’ll be able to order some of these delicious dishes from somewhere near you, via the Just Eat app.
