If you don’t want your eggs fried, poached or scrambled what about having them hard-boiled with rice, moist flakes of smoked haddock, fresh parsley and curry powder? Kedgeree is a Victorian Scottish recipe, which was brought over from India and is (just putting it out there) supposedly an excellent hangover cure. Speaking of Scotland, Scottish Porridge is one of the bonniest breakfasts on the Just Eat app. Just decide whether you want your porridge all-water, all-milk or half-half. Either way, the healthy and nutritious rolled oats have slow-release carbohydrates (combined with quick-release delivery bikes) to keep you feeling satisfied till lunchtime.

Eggs let you hatch some delicious culinary plans for Brunch, such as Spinach Baked Eggs with tomato and chilli, or a Smoked Bacon & Spinach Omelette. We’re talking about Kedgeree, of course, a Victorian Scottish recipe brought over from India. The Continentals create Brunch with a touch of ‘je ne sais Croissant’. The French Croque-Monsieur is a swanky Ham & Cheese Toastie (called Tost in Italy and Tosti in Holland) that oozes cheesiness (and hamminess). ‘Croque’ means bite – and a Croque-Madame is the same toastie but with a poached or fried egg on top. (Oeuf!) And Danish Pastries are a simple and slick Brunch treat. (Have them delivered on a simple and quick Just Eat delivery bike.)
