Real Moroccan Food. Delivered Real Quick.
Lamb Tagine, Chicken Pastilla, Lamb Couscous – these days you don’t need to visit Morocco to get a vivid taste of it. Moroccan food is popping-up in more places and tempting taste buds everywhere. It’s colourful, spicy, sweet and scented – often at the same time. An exotic blend of Arabic, Andalusian and Mediterranean cuisines with a little European influence mixed in there, too. It’s also as popular with healthy lifestyles as it is with healthy appetites.
Couscous – a mouthwatering mound of steamed semolina served with a stew spooned on top – is practically the national dish of Morocco, and the international dish of health food fans. Tagines are very popular and very special, too – sweet and sour casserole-style dishes of lamb, chicken or fish with herbs and spices cooked in a tall cone-shaped pot. Just magic. Experience some for yourself from somewhere near you, via the Just Eat app.

Spicy Quinoa Salad
Moroccan Cuisine can be as healthy as it is popular. Take the Moroccan Spicy Quinoa Salad, (which you can, very easily, through the Just Eat app). It’s a protein-packed festival of Mediterranean Flavours with quinoa (obvs,) cucumbers, kalamata olives, tomatoes, red onion, extra virgin olive oil, fresh lemon and a (just a little) Feta Cheese. Tired of being healthy? Then Moroccan Sweets and Freshly-Baked Pastries will delight your sweet tooth. (Especially with a clean glass of Sweet Mint Tea) Fekkass are Morocco’s take on Italian Biscotti and Briouts are cardamom-infused puff pastry triangles that can be sweet (almond paste or pistachio & hazelnut) or savoury (chicken or lamb mixed with cheese, lemon and pepper). Either way, Just Eat can Deliver Real Moroccan.

Chicken Shawarma
Moroccan Chicken Shawarma is a delicious dish based on the Doner Kebab of Ottoman Turkey, that has become all the rage (a bit like the Just Eat app once you’ve tried it). Originally Lamb or Mutton, today's shawarma can be is typically chicken, but also Turkey, Beef, or Veal, cut into thin slices and stacked in a cone-like shape on a vertical rotisserie. Kefta Mkaouara (aka Moroccan Meatball and Egg Tagine) is another traditional dish of small beef or lamb meatballs simmered in a spicy tomato-based sauce, with boiled eggs added – importantly – in the last few minutes. (The most important part, of course, is ordering it through the Just Eat app.)
