Real Burritos. Delivered Real Quick.
The humble Burrito is well on its way to becoming one of the world’s fave fast foods. Originally just a Mexican flour tortilla wrapped around meat and refried beans, it’s now available with a multitude of fillings on menus around the globe.
The Classic Burrito, for most of us, is a hot and heavy handful of meat, rice, salsa, beans, guacamole, cheese, sour cream and shredded veg. But these days it comes every way you can imagine. You can get Chilli Beef Burritos, Grilled Chicken Burritos, Pulled Pork Burritos, Vegetarian Burritos, you name it, there are even Haggis Burritos out there.
Apparently, the word Burrito means ‘Little Donkey’ in Spanish which is what the inventor used to deliver them on... No, don’t worry, we know you’re in more of a hurry than that, so you'll get them delivered on a shiny red Just Eat delivery bike.

The Breakfast Burrito
Burritos have become the go-to Mexican food for an easy-to-carry, easy-to-eat and (thanks to Just Eat) easy-to-order meal. A Burrito is a dish in Mexican and Tex-Mex Cuisine (Texan + Mexican, obvs) that consists of a soft, warm flour-based tortilla wrapped into a closed-ended cylinder that can be crammed with a limitless range of juicy fillings like spicy rice, refried beans, chicken, beef, pork, lettuce, tomato, salsa and mayo. The Breakfast Burrito can house a myriad of breakfasty or brunchy delights such as eggs, cheese, ham, onion, peppers, bacon, potatoes, sausage, avocado, tomato, spinach, olives and (insert your personal favourite here). Or try a Vegetarian Burrito stuffed with Portobello mushrooms and beefsteak tomatoes. The name ‘Burrito’ comes from its Mexican origin and translates to ‘little donkey’ (‘burro’ is donkey in Spanish) because the folded flap resembles a donkey’s ear. (A word in your ear: use Just Eat.)

Enchiladas
The Just Eat app can do more than just deliver Burritos to your door – it can bring you the whole Enchilada. That’s a corn tortilla rolled around a filling and covered with a chilli pepper sauce. Enchilada fillings can include various meats, cheese, potatoes, veggies, beans or other combos. A Quesadilla, however, or specifically a Cheese Quesadilla, is a Mexican dish made of tortilla filled with cheese, then grilled. Tortillas are traditionally corn, but flour tortillas are also popular. As is having them delivered in Speedy-Gonzalez-Style through on a Just East delivery bike.
