Real Tex Mex. Delivered Real Quick.
Burrito, Nacho, Taco, Fajita, Enchilada, Quesadilla – if you can’t read these words without fantasising about them being smothered in yellow melted cheese, you love Tex Mex – that brilliantly brash mash-up of Texan and Mexican feasting. You’re not alone. It’s the comfort food of choice for millions of others like you, too.
People fascinated by Fajitas, enchanted by Enchiladas, tempted by Tortillas and chomping at the bit for Chilli fuelled Chimichangas. Tex-Mex may seem simple –lots of versions of tasty tortilla-wrapped beef, pork or chicken, shredded cheese, chilli, beans, peppers, sour cream, guacamole and crunchy corn chips – but it gets taste buds partying in seconds. No point resisting, Gringo. Put on that Mariachi music and order a delivery from somewhere near you, via the Just Eat app.

Tortilla
Love Tex-Mex? Then you’ll go whacko for a Taco. A taco is a corn or wheat Tortilla simply folded around fillings such as beef, pork, chicken, veggies, seafood and cheese. (Unlike a Burrito which is a wrapped and stuffed tortilla cylinder.) Very versatile. Very varied. Very quick, via Just Eat. Like Nachos, too? Then you’ll like 1943. (That’s not the amount you’d like on a plate) it’s the year they were created by Ignacio "Nacho" Anaya. He devised this highly sociable stack of tortilla chips covered with mince and grated cheese or a cheese-based sauce. Maybe Guacamole (a dip of mashed avocado with chopped onion, tomatoes, chilli peppers)? Maybe Salsa (a fiery Mexican Sauce)? Definitely the Just Eat app.

Burritos
Burritos have become a go-to Tex-Mex Food for an easy-to-carry, easy-to-eat and (thanks to Just Eat) easy-to-order meal. A Burrito is a popular dish in both Mexican and Tex-Mex Cuisine (Texan + Mexican, obvs) that consists of a soft, warm flour-based Tortilla wrapped into a closed-ended cylinder that can be crammed with a limitless range of juicy fillings like spicy rice, refried beans, chicken, beef, pork, lettuce, tomato, salsa and mayo. The Breakfast Burrito can house a myriad of breakfasty or brunchy delights such as eggs, cheese, ham, onion, peppers, bacon, potatoes, sausage, avocado, tomato, spinach, olives and (insert your personal favourite here). Or try a Vegetarian Burrito stuffed with Portobello mushrooms and beefsteak tomatoes. The name ‘Burrito’ comes from its Mexican origin and translates to ‘little donkey’ (‘burro’ is donkey in Spanish) because the folded flap resembles a donkey’s ear.
